Twice in one year! Our CEO Maureen Borzacchiello was invited to be part of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) Euronext opening bell ceremony on September 2nd, 2011 with the first group of all women to ring the bell, representing women’s leadership and economic independence.
Count Me In for Women’s Economic Independence visited the NYSE to recognize the national efforts of the non-profit organization in supporting significant growth among women-owned businesses in the United States from micro businesses into million dollar enterprises. In honor of the occasion, Nell Merlino, Founder and President, Count Me In for Women’s Economic Independence, rang The Opening BellSM, joined by esteemed members of the Make Mine a Million $ Business (M3) event steering committee, elected officials, long-time sponsors, and women business owners who have both benefited and hope to benefit from the power of the M3 program.

A key objective for this project was to splash the environment with the colors from PwC’s corporate color pallette to effectively communicate the Corporate Brand and tie in some key colors of the "Women in the World" logo.
The attendees and our clients absolutely loved the results and gave us such high praise for exceeding their expectations: “You and your team did an amazing job of pulling the PwC Café together in such a short period of time. The place was a hit! The location was perfect and how you transformed the space was amazing. The hotel employees were amazed and said they wished the space would stay as is...”
American Express, representatives from New York small businesses and other advocates for the "Small Business SaturdaySM" movement visited the NYSE to highlight the initiative and encourage all consumers to "Shop Small" on November 27th and throughout the Holiday Season. In honor of the occasion, American Express Vice Chairman, Ed Gilligan rings The Closing BellSM.
Simultaneously, we fabricated and moved in exhibits and signage to 75 locations around the country. That project included everything from custom fabrication, signage, museum type custom exhibits, large aluminum extrusion exhibits with tension fabric, portable exhibit elements, exterior building graphics and lighting, shipping, storage, installation and dismantle.
While our timeline was right on track to coincide with the launch of their new brand "PwC", rain and strong wind made it a bit challenging to work outside in Manhattan...35 stories up. Through hard work and perseverance we got the job done - and we are proud.
